I am working on a feature for Mother Jones. I am looking for an OBGYN to weigh in on the following situation in a few sentences. The doctor and hospital are not identifiable, so I'm just looking for an expert opinion.
A person at first did not receive surgery for an ectopic pregnancy because an OBGYN raised that she could be having multiples (she ended up not having that). Is this a troublesome response when someone seems to be having an ectopic pregnancy and needs surgery?
