Hello, I am working on a story for Verywell Health about sunscreen, and I am looking for a dermatologist who can share their insights for this story. Specifically, I would like to discuss how to pick a safe and effective sunscreen, SPF recommendations, how much to use, and whether spray or cream works better.
Dermatologists and health experts, how much sun exposure do you need to get enough vitamin D?
Do you need the same amount (minutes) in all seasons, weather and where you live?
Does sunscreen block vitamin D formation and if so how do you get enough vitamin D without getting sunburned?
How can you get vitamin D without sun and does everyone still need some sun every day if they can?
What didn't we ask?
notes: health providers including dermatologists, preventive care specialists, oncologists, nurses preferred.
MDs or exercise physiologists with deep understanding of exercise and health, why could interval walking be better for people than just plain walking or other exercise?
