I'm writing a story for The National UAE exploring how Gen Z in the UAE is shifting away from hustle culture in favor of a slower, more intentional way of life. I'm looking to speak with Gen Z individuals (roughly aged 18–26) based in the UAE — particularly Dubai or Abu Dhabi — who’ve embraced slow living in any form: be it through mindful routines, less focus on productivity, digital boundaries, or nature-based practices.
If you’ve redefined success on your own terms, moved away from the 'always-on' mindset, or found alternative ways to live and work, I’d love to hear from you.
Also open to hearing from:
• Counsellors or psychologists working with Gen Z in the UAE
• Social scientists or researchers studying youth culture in the region
Requirements:
• Must be based in the UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or other emirates)
• Gen Z individuals (ages approx. 18–26) OR professionals working closely with them
