AI industry experts, how are AI tools currently impacting and even replacing jobs in different industries? My main questions are:
.) A 2025 World Economic Forum report predicts AI will displace 92 million jobs by 2030. From an industry perspective, which sectors and what type of work do you think is the most at risk?
.) There seem to be divergent viewpoints on the effects AI could have on healthcare. While some experts say jobs likely won't be replaced, there's already a buzz around an AI project developed by Johns Hopkins and Stanford University, which taught itself surgery by watching videos last year. What are your thoughts on this?
.) From your perspective, what are the real industry disruptions we can expect, both near and long term, from AI vs. the things people fear, but might not be realistic? (e.g. self-driving cars replacing delivery service, cleaning robots replacing housekeepers, etc.)
.) In your experience, have you personally seen AI applications phase out jobs, or what many employers are calling "unnecessary layers," in the workplace?
