Solo travel is more popular than ever. According to Google, searches for "solo travel" hit an all-time high. Fifty-eight percent of people traveled solo in 2024, and 84% of solo travelers are women. Solo travel is only expected to increase well into the next decade.
But, it can also be dangerous. I'm looking to interview experts on things to know before you take your next solo trip. From advice on choosing a destination, to what to pack, to how to plan and prepare so you're safer while you're away.
I'd love travel safety and other experts who can speak to common pitfalls for solo travelers and how to overcome them.
