I'm seeking to speak to people IN RETIREMENT --not financial advisors--who regret not saving for something. This can be a specific thing, or a general category, i.e. not saving enough for more travel, or for long-term healthcare, or a new car, or a roof for your house, etc.
I would like to know:
--Prefer to know your age/state you're based in and number of years retired (and from what industry if you're willing to share)
--How did you determine your retirement budget/needs
--Why were you unable to save the amount you needed (lack of planning, not predicting inflation or tariffs, other costs got in the way, etc)
--How has not saving for this expense affected you in retirement? (I.e. cutting into your budget for other things, requiring you to pull money from another source, forcing you to pick up work?)
--What would you have done differently now that you know?
