I'm looking for experts with experience in men’s health/treating ED and treating hair loss/prescribing hair loss meds to answer the following questions:
1. From a mechanistic standpoint, how might finasteride’s inhibition of 5-alpha-reductase contribute to sexual side effects such as erectile dysfunction or decreased libido?
2. Based on the current body of research, how robust is the evidence linking finasteride use to erectile dysfunction? How has this understanding evolved since the early clinical trials and post-marketing reports?
3. The concept of “post-finasteride syndrome” remains controversial. What’s your perspective on the quality and consistency of evidence supporting persistent sexual dysfunction after discontinuation of the drug?
4. For patients who experience sexual side effects while taking finasteride, what does the clinical evidence indicate regarding reversibility? Are there known strategies or treatments that can aid recovery?
5. In your clinical or research experience, how common are sexual side effects among men taking finasteride, and are there identifiable risk factors that make some patients more susceptible?
6. How do other hair loss medications compare in terms of sexual side effects? Are there alternatives that appear safer from a sexual health standpoint?
7. Beyond sexual health, what other side effects or systemic considerations should clinicians and patients be aware of when prescribing or taking finasteride or other hair loss drugs?
Thank you in advance!

Physicians/Pain Management Experts/Physical Therapist Needed re: Pain Support
I'm looking to interview 1-2 medical experts/health professionals on whether sparkling water counts as hydration, focusing on questions such as:
-What are the nutritional/hydration benefits of sparkling water vs flat water?
-Are all types of sparkling water hydrating?
-How much hydration do you need?
-Are there any health benefits of sparkling water beyond hydration?
I can send any additional or follow-up questions to be answered via email.
